WHO WE ARE
The fruit of a technological partnership initiated in 2012 with the Charles Coulomb Laboratory (L2C), a joint CNRS/University of Montpellier unit, Terakalis is at the heart of innovation in the field of TeraHertz electromagnetic waves since its creation in 2013.
Backed by world-renowned research and several patents, our mission is to push back the boundaries of TeraHertz measurement and imaging system design and development. TeraHertz waves offer exceptional capabilities, combining penetration and spectroscopic sensitivity, giving our systems unrivalled relevance for defect inspection, thickness measurement and characterization of the physico-chemical properties of materials.
Equipped with an extensive 2D/3D measurement and imaging platform, as well as state-of-the-art spectroscopy resources, we take on the most complex challenges and offer tailor-made solutions to any material control problem.
Our approach is supported by a multidisciplinary team of experts in optics, electronics, mechanics and many other fields. As a result, Terakalis has extensive engineering capabilities, enabling us to offer customized solutions to meet our customers’ specific needs.
Our areas of activity include targeted feasibility studies, the realization of innovative prototypes and industrial systems measurement and imaging systems. We also offer services such as commissioning assistance, advanced training and responsive technical support.
